International oil prices rise on the 22nd
- Brent closed at U$62.59/bbl, up U$1.27/bbl from the previous day.
- WTI closed at U$58.50/bbl, up U$1.26/bbl from the previous day.
- Dubai closed at U$63.47/bbl, up U$1.65/bbl from the previous day.


■ International oil prices on the 22nd announced U.S. sanctions on Russian oil companies, weekly U.S. oil inventories
Decline, rise on reports of close U.S.-India trade deal.

■ The U.S. Treasury Department announced sanctions on Russian oil companies Rosneft and Lukoil on the 22nd. U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said Putin refused to end the war. He announced the sanctions and said he expects allies to cooperate with the sanctions. Under the sanctions, Rosneft and Lukoil's assets in the United States (including subsidiaries) will be frozen, and transactions with U.S. citizens and corporations are also prohibited.

■ Weekly U.S. oil inventories released by the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA) also compared to the previous week. Declining suggests oil demand is solid, at least in the U.S. (Reuters).

■ According to the Indian business magazine Mint, India has gradually increased its share of Russian oil imports. The U.S. is close to a trade agreement that cuts tariffs to 15-16%, reports.
