International oil prices fall on the 17th
■ Brent closed at U$64.20/bbl, down U$0.19/bbl from the previous day.
■ WTI closed at U$59.91/bbl, down U$0.18/bbl from the previous day.
■ Dubai closed at U$64.63/bbl, down U$0.13/bbl from the previous day.


The U.S. Republican Party is preparing legislation to impose sanctions on all countries doing business with Russia.

Crude oil exports through the port suspended on the 14th (Friday) include Kazakhstan crude oil 2.2 million b/d, equivalent to 2% of the world's oil supply, and resumption of shipments on the 16th (Sun).

Iranian forces seized an oil tanker passing through the Strait of Hormuz, continuing tensions in the Middle East. The Marshall Islands oil tanker Talara lost contact after communication on the 14th, and the Iranian Revolutionary Guard confirmed the capture of the tanker.
